I’ve read other books about religion before but this book is out of the ordinary. If you read only one book this year, make it this one. Commissioned By God is a remarkably inspirational book written by Norma J. Edwards-Merriweather. I picked it up thinking I knew everything there was to know about Religion and Christianity. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Reading this book was a surprising fact, and I found inspiration in a place I simply did not expect.
"Commissioned By God" is written by a Minister's Wife who felt the Spirit of the Lord move in her to write an inspirational book. It is a day by day road map through life's journey. This inspirational book is written relating God's favor and safe-keeping in her life. The author uses her personal experiences to encourage readers to look for the good in people and circumstances even while in one of the worst situations. The book is a true testimony of faith, perseverance, and trusting God in everything that you do. It also shares a common sense approach to working with people who may not always employ common sense when interacting with others.
This book undoubtedly left me feeling inspired, and spiritually aloft. I had a good time reading this book for its truthfulness, the portrayal of the difficulties of living during sickness, especially for someone that has been through a lot. I feel like I learned quite a few things that I didn’t know and I didn't believed before. I highly recommend this book!
