Confession is a compilation of poems that would surely take you to a different journey. This book speaks about love and yearning, certainty, hope and heartaches. I really felt connected to those lines that were simply stated, but became so relatable. The book for me was like treating myself with pain and hope at the same time. Her poems are a blend of affliction and hopefulness.
Most poems in the book are in the form of lyric poetry, expressing strong contemplation and feelings. I love the thoughts the author was able to build into her poems. And I like that although the situations were sometimes sad, the book is in no way a pity party and for the most part, it is quite reflective.
